A big welcome to our new start who has settled well into the nursery This week we had a visit from a baby duck, all the children enjoyed this. A big thank you to Katherine for bringing him in to see us.

What a busy week, we enjoyed writing our names in the shaving foam, playing outside on the bike, working with Mrs P on the schools bug hotel and talking to Suzie about looking after out teeth.
This week we had two visitors, Suzie came to talk to us about how to look after our teeth and the foods we need to eat to stay healthy. Anne Mairi brought in some moths for the nursery to look after and then she did some cooking with us.
We are all looking forward to her coming back to nursery. This week we talked about healthy foods and enjoyed making large print pictures for the wall.
We would like to say a big thank you to Liz who came into nursery to help us do some Willow Weaving. This was great fun. We have been looking at healthy foods this week and enjoyed making milk shakes and fish cakes for snack. We also did lots of art, making a healthy/unhealthy food display and some what we like to eat dinner plates.
This week we looked at patterns , enjoyed flying our kites in the gym hall and enjoyed playing with BEE BOT. We would also like to say thank you to Kirsten who came into the nursery to help us do some cooking. This week we talked about space and made some great junk model rockets. We also had good fun outside looking for loads of different bugs, learning all their names and finding out where they live. On Thursday one of the P3s came to nursery to read a story.
This week we spent some time outside, climbing on the fallen trees and looking for bugs. In the nursery we talked about our sea topic and learning Gaelic names for the colours as we made fish and boats to put in the water table. On Thursday we had great fun making and eating cheese straws for snack.
